Konzept

The philosophy of TaK is to create a space for people of all ages and backgrounds to express themselves through dance, movement, acrobatic, acting, music and a variety of performance skills from all over the world – either through participation in the training, classes and workshops provided or onstage in front of the audience. The team consists of professional international interdisciplinary artists from all over the world such as Italy, Chile, Thailand as well as local German artists here in Hamburg. In a modern world where logic, rationality, technology and intellectualism are of uttermost importance, we tend to sometimes forget that what humans yearn for the most is emotional connection. TAK places importance on not only colorful, interdisciplinary, eclectic performances – it places importance on going deeper beyond human rationality to the core of every human being. The pursuit of intellectualism and technological advancement has served us in many ways – but sometimes humans tend to neglect their emotional wellbeing and the importance of empathy. Not everything can be expressed through words: feelings are intangible, yet they can be expressed in endless and imaginative ways – providing the sense of magic for everyone. TaK not only has artists who work creatively in a variety of theatre, dance, circus, music and performance styles – but it encourages the participants to trust in their own abilities to connect to themselves and to others through the dramatic arts with professional training. The participants can use the training to develop their skills as a professional working artist, or to simply experience the joy of playing and connecting through art. We hope that we will start a chain movement to inspire people that there is always room for play, vibrancy, the expression of every emotions and even magic in a world that can seem cold and obsessed with hard work, status and technology.

Das Team

Paula Zamora Cornejo

Man darf also gespannt sein.
